Shadow Makers

With these Shadow Makers, Shawn's hope is to emulate a few
things that make sense to him.

Light and refractions of light,
shadows, symmetry,
a nod toward planetary movements.
shadows, their ability to emulate yet distort the shape and tone of any object...

the symmetry of rotation.

He turns them on a lathe, makes a shape that is pleasing, cuts them in half, stitches them back together, shapes/carves them, suspends them to create a sense of

airiness.
